Der TECH-Sektor hat noch einen langen Weg vor sich, wenn es um die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter geht - weltweit! Es gibt noch immer zu wenige weibliche Gründerinnen. Dabei gelingt Innovation nur mit Diversität. Doch wie kann die Zahl der Tech-Gründerinnen erhöht und eine nachhaltige Start-up- und Innovationsszene gestaltet werden? Darüber wollen wir in TECHimpulse mit erfolgreichen Frauen aus der Tech-Branche mit Fokus auf Afrika diskutieren.
Vor welchen Herausforderungen stehen Frauen im TECH-Sektor? Auf welche Hürden stoßen Gründerinnen und wie kann das Ökosystem frauenfreundlicher aussehen? Welche Erfahrungen machen weibliche Startups, zum Beispiel in Sachen Investorensuche?
Wir sprechen mit Gründerinnen über ihre Lessons Learned und Best Practices. Wir gehen der Frage nach, wie man der Unterrepräsentation von Frauen in der digitalen Entwicklung, zum Beispiel im Bereich KI, entgegenwirken kann. Und klären die Frage warum die digitale Transformation noch viel weiblicher werden sollte.

Karlsruhe is becoming warmer and drier as climate changes in southwest Germany. Large city trees often become the first target for removal during infrastructure projects. At the same time, the poor vitality of city trees due to climate change impacts, diseases, and early aging of trees also sometimes contributes to the premature removal of trees. In this presentation, Dr. Somidh Saha will show the importance of large trees in cooling and biodiversity conservation in urban areas (e.g., streets, cemeteries, and parks) and provide some outlook on improving arboriculture and tree care so that the large trees can be kept in the city for a longer time. He will provide examples from the concluded GrüneLunge, ongoing URBORETUM, and other research projects.

Die Informationsveranstaltung richtet sich an Forschende, die wenig Erfahrung bei der Antragsstellung zu ZIM Kooperationsprojekten haben. Diese zeichnen sich durch eine anwendungsorientierte Forschung in Verbindung mit einem Industriepartner aus, sowie einer hohen Förderchance. Die Förderlinie wird vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz gefördert und ist kontinuierlich offen.
In dieser Veranstaltung berichtet ein erfahrener Forschender aus seiner langjährigen Praxis in Bezug auf ZIM Kooperationsprojekte. Zusätzlich berichtet die Dienstleistungseinheit Innovations- und Relationsmanagement (IRM) über ihren allgemeinen Service und Unterstützungsangebote. Weiterhin werden administrative Hinweise gegeben zur schnellen Bearbeitung der Antragsformulare.
