In Hall 11, Stand B06, we will focus on technology transfer and a key technology of the high-tech agenda: fusion energy. With an exhibit from the heart of a fusion power plant – the breeder blanket – we will present a technical solution with the potential to make a significant contribution to the energy supply of the future. Using a gyrotron demonstrator, we will illustrate how microwave technology is used to generate and heat fusion plasma to several million degrees. In addition, we will present further exhibits dealing with hydrogen technologies, the electrification of chemical processes and innovative energy conversion concepts, among other things.
